Enrique Mora

Kike’s professional dance experience began in 1999 teaching and performing in the world of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and later Argentine Tango.  In 2001 he received the title of Salsa King in Charlotte, NC after winning a dance competition and performing at Celia Cruz concert at the Blumenthal arts center in Charlotte. In 2006 Kike was featured as choreographer / dancer instructor in MTV my sweet sixteen show.

Later on Kike was introduced to the world of tango and began traveling to Buenos Aires regularly to deepen his knowledge and understanding of Argentine Tango. In addition Kike studied Psychology at Queens University of Charlotte where he researched the benefits of Tango as Dance therapy.

In 2017 Kike was Finalist at Metropolitan Tango Championship in Buenos Aires. Kike performed in some of the most popular Milongas of Buenos Aires including Amapola, Domilonga, Marshall, Sueno Porteno, Cachirulo, and El Beso . Kike has taught workshops and performed at the 2016 Washington DC Argentine Tango Festival, and various other cities, throughout the US.

Kike’s unique ability is enabling students to feel, understand the connection, the dialog between the feet and communication through the embrace, interpreting the musical aspects of the dance while experiencing the magic of tango.
