Share your favorite memories of this year’s Marathon! Take photos that show the welcoming spirit and joy we all feel at the at the Queen City Tango Marathon. CANDID SHOTS ONLY, No posed tango shots, please!
What are the prizes?
Two winners each for a full pass to our 2021 Marathon, two winners for a half-price pass, and two winners for dinner at our 2021 dinner social.
Who can enter?
Any guest who purchased a pass to attend the marathon in 2020.
How do I submit my photos?
You are invited to upload any event photos to our Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/QCTMAttendingDancers/
as long as the photos are all different and from our 2020 marathon. Only entries posted on or before February 28th are eligible.
If you have trouble loading your photos, please send them directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How are the winning photos chosen?
The staff of QCTM will choose the top 18 photos and then post them for a public vote for you to choose the winning photos.. To be fair, the photographers’ names will not be revealed until the voting is finished.
When will the winners be announced?
The voting will begin when we post the top 18 photos with our save the date announcement for the 2021 QCTM at the beginning of April.
The voting window will be open for the month of April.
The winners will be announced sometime around the end of May when we expect to announce when registration will open for the 2021 Queen City Tango Marathon.
What’s the fine print about taking and using photos?
By registering for the Queen City Tango Marathon, participants give us permission to use any photos or videos taken during the event. The photos and videos may be posted on the internet, any of our web sites and/or on youtube, facebook etc… The photos and videos will not be sold or used in conjunction with any inflammatory content. If for any reason they do not want they photos or videos used, they can simply submit a request in writing, complete with a current photo of the way they looked at the time of the festival, in advance of postings so we can remove any photos/videos that may be pending a post – note once a digital image or video file has been posted retrieval of all copies is not possible.
